Research & Development

Considerable research is done through top designers, catwalks, fashion TV and the internet, so that we can respond to new styles and translate these for corporate use. All international fabric fairs are visited to find fit for purpose materials as well as source new but practical innovations and solutions that meet the stringent demands of the work place. JOHN MARKS subject their fabrics and Ready to Wear stock to severe industry testing, ensuring that 99.9% of garments are machine washable to at least 30 degrees.

Method of Working

We work closely together with our clients to ensure that their objectives with regards to theming, branding and colour palettes are taken into consideration before samples are sent. JOHN MARKS offers specially customised quick turnaround stock using embroidery and/or printing, dyed to match (or contrast buttons) gold braid, coloured and diamonte trims. By offering economy of scale and uniformity for some departments John Marks utilises different colour and trim choices as well as accessories such as ties, scarves, aprons, caps, braces, gloves and so on.
